Viet Nam Discovery

(13 days 12 nights)

Day 1: Welcome at Saigon ( L, D )  

Arrival Sai Gon you will be met by your guide and driver and transferred to the hotel for check in. You get local Saigon Massage and a chance to relax with light music, candles, aroma sticks lighten up atmosphere after the long flight.

Welcome dinner is included. 

Day 2: HCM – CaiBe ( B, L, D ) 

Mekong Delta is known as the rice bowl and fruit orchard of Viet Nam where 50% of rice is produced. Coach trip heading to South West to visit Cai Be Floating Market, one of the typical farming product trading of the Mekong Delta. Stop and taste pop-rice, pop-corn and coconut candy workshop and see how to make them. Cruise on Nine-Dragon River-Mekong River and An Binh Canal. Landing on Binh Hoa Phuoc Island to visit ancient French style house and enjoy traditional music. Lunch is prepared at local Bonsai Garden with Elephant Ear Fish wrapped with rice paper. Discover daily life activities of local people by go sightseeing, biking or walking through these orchards and the smiles of local kids will stay in your mind. Tonight the accommodation is simple but help you share life experiences with local people through conversation at dinner time.  

Day 3: Saigon – HoiAn ( B, L, D )  

Back to Saigon, transfer to Airport with a short flight to DaNang. Go to Hoi An, check in hotel and relax. 

Day 4: Hoi An ( B, L, D )  

Hoi An - another UNESCO site on the bank of the Thu Bon River. Continue to visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Assembly Hall, Ceramic Museum, Chinese and Vietnamese Style Old House, Traditional Crafts and Music. Hoi An is used to be a big port for oversea trading in Asia from 16th century and now is good place for shopping. Dinner is included. 

Day 5: Hoi An – Hue ( B, L, D )  

Check out and say good bye Hoi An, go to Hue. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda where you can see the photo of a monk burnt himself to protest against the Diem Government during the American War in Sai Gon. Then continue to visit Tu Duc’s Tomb and Khai Dinh Modern Style Tomb of the Nguyen Dynasty. After lunch, visit Imperial Citadel, Royal Palace and Dong Ba Market by the river. Dinner at Royal Restaurant where you will be dressed like the Emperor or Empress. Overnight in Hue. 

Day 6: Hue – HaNoi ( B, L, D ) 

Enjoy breakfast in hotel, then go to HaNoi by train. Check in hotel and take a rst then a long way.  

Day 7: HaNoi – City tour ( B, L, D )  

This morning discover Thang Long-Ha Noi 1000 years to visit some of Ha Noi’s historical sights. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh’s House where he preferred to live simply. One Pillar Pagoda a small but significant pagoda with a Buddhist representation of the world and the Temple of Literature originally built in 1070. Having lunch and free on your own in the afternoon.  

Day 8: HaNoi – HaLong Bay ( B, L, D )  

Your tour guide pick you up at your hotel, depart from HaNoi to HaLong bay. Enroute, you will have a short break of 15 minutes to rest before going to Halong bay.

Boarding for a complimentary drink and delicious sea food lunch white cruising to the bay. Enjoy the beautiful limestone islands with Fighting – Cock, Dog Rock and incense Burners… formed by the process of erosion between the sea water and limestones. Many of them are covered in lush, dense jungle. Later, we visite Sung Sot Cave ( Cave of Surprises ) and then spend an hour Kayaking before a refreshing ocean swimming.

Fresh seasonal fruits are served on sundeck. Having dinner and overnight on boad. 

Day 9: Halong – Sapa ( B, L, D ) 

Enjoying breakfast while cruising towards Van Gia floating Village – one of the largest floating villages in Halong bay. Have your camera ready photos !

Having lunch on board with a variety of local food, enjoying the rest of the boat trip.

Arriving back at Halong dock for bus to pick up. Have a short break of 15 minutes enroute to HaNoi. Then tranfer to train station going to Sapa. 

Day 10: Sapa ( B, L, D ) 

After the overnight trip, arrive at LaoCai train station, where a bus will collect you for the continued joyrney to Spa( 38 kms ). After your hotel check and breakfast, your guide will meet you for a visit to Laochai and Tavan villages. Enjoy the magnificent mountain landscape and learn more about the daily life of the ethnic minority Black Mong, Zay and Red Zao groups. Overnight is a “Homestay” in a traditional house. 

Day 11: Sapa ( B, L, D )  

After breakfast, continue your trip to Giang Ta Chai Village ( Red Zao people ), and then onwards to Ban Ho Village ( Tai People ) – one of the most picturesque villages in sapa. Enjoy a picnic lunch enroute. Overnight in a traditional still – house with spectacular mountain views, 

Day 12: Sapa – HaNoi ( B, L, D )  

After breakfast, we explore the village to observe the daily life of the local ethnic minority people. As a hot weather alternative, head to a water – fall to swim and relax.

After lunch we take a jeep back to Sapa.

Bus transfer to Laocai station for the overnight trian to Hanoi. 

Day 13: Hanoi - Departure Flight ( B, L )  

Today is a sad day! Our guide will take you to the airport and say goodbye. End tour.
